Mum
I work full time and love my job but love going home to my family at the end of the day. My house is one of kids and chaos and although it often drives me to despair I wouldn't have it any other way. I often describe myself as a sleep deprived chocolate addict and it's probably because it's true. I love to read when I get 5 minutes peace and I always carry a sketch book with me for doodling. I'm a family person through and through and that's about it for me.
Steve
My lovely other half who needs a medal for putting up with me. He's been by my side through thick and think and i've often not appreciated him for it. He loves playing Rugby but loves watching it even more and his favourite saying is, "he's ex Wakey". So much so it is now a running joke in our house. He's a fab Dad and even does his fair share of nappies and he lets me have the occassional lay in. We all love him to bits and would love him even more if he didn't leave dirty socks all over the house!
Holly Grace
The apple of my eye and love of my life. It took us a while to get pregnant with her as I suffer from Endometriosis, a condition that more women suffer from than we know about. We'd pretty much given up trying after 3 years and decided to look at adoption. The day came when I was 10 days late and that little pink line on the stick didn't fade. We were delighted by the news and 9 months later she decided to join us. She was a really good baby (sorry if it sounds like i'm rubbing it in) but rest assured it didn't last as we now venture into the zone that is called "terrible Two's".
Holly is the life and soul of any room she is in and she is so unbelievably independant (gets that from me i'm sure). She has my stubbornness (you can imagine the yes, no games we go through) but her Dads laid back approach to life. What else can I say about her other than she is my perfect little girl!
Sam
Complete opposite to Holly in everyway. He is the most chilled out little boy I've ever known and he loves practising his kisses and cuddles. He's just turned 1 and he and his sister have got the tag team routine off to a fine art. They run rings round me and know they often get the better of me. It's great watching Sam enter the exploring phase where everything it just the most amazing thing in the whole world. My family is now complete.
Charlie & Lola
The 2 pet fish that were so desperately wanted by Holly. Charlie is Orange and Lola is Yellow and she is a bossy little madem. To her credit Holly asks to feed them every morning and then proceeds to launch her fist into the water to make the biggest splash she can!.
